SNAP

Mid-South Food Bank offers application assistance for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP benefits (formerly known as food stamps). SNAP is a Federal Nutrition Program that helps low-income people and families buy the food they need for good health.

One in five eligible people do not receive benefits for several reasons, including the following; they do not realize they are eligible, they have misconceptions about those receiving benefits, or they lack the technological/transportation resources to apply. If you need any form of food assistance, you are eligible to apply.

We have SNAP Outreach Coordinators in Tennessee and Mississippi to help with applications. For more information about benefits or to contact a coordinator for assistance, click the button for your state below.
