Mid-South Food Bank’s Retail Store Donation Program works alongside the local grocery industry to reduce food waste. We collect perishable and shelf-stable food that retail stores are unable to sell. This can include, but not limited to, frozen meat, fresh produce, canned goods, close-dated bakery, dairy, and other refrigerated items.  We distribute the products through our Partner Agencies to food-insecure neighbors in our 31-county service area.

Mid-South Food Bank or an affiliated Partner Agency can pick-up donations on a scheduled basis. We ask that you designate an area in store for food donations. Feeding America has the most retail donor’s food safety guidelines and the best donation processes available.
