Every year comes with its challenges, and this past year has been no different while navigating the “new normal” of COVID-19. Mid-South Food Bank immediately met the needs of families facing lost jobs, no food, and no hope for safety. We have seen a 44% increase in food insecurity since this time last year. More mouths to feed means more food coming in the door. As of June 30, 2020, we distributed a total of 31.9 million pounds of food! That’s more than 26 million meals for people in need. Thank you to every person who helped achieve this goal!
