Turning Hunger into Hope for 40 years

Mid-South Food Bank Milestone

The Food Bank has come a long way since 1981 when it was founded as a MIFA program. In the past 40 years, we've grown to include more than 300 partner agencies, distributing nearly 400 million pounds of food throughout our 31-county service area.

Now we're rising to the challenge brought to us by a global pandemic as 397,570 people in our community are living food insecure. Many have never needed help from the Food Bank before.

We could not have done it without your support. This year, Mid-South Food Bank is asking our generous community to celebrate with us and to continue our mission of changing lives by eliminating hunger in the Mid-South.
