Relief After The Storm

The February Ice Storm impacted families across the Greater Memphis Area. Businesses identified the damages and partnered with Mid-South Food Bank to replace meals for families that lost food during the power outage.

Special thanks to Memphis Light, Gas, and Water (MLGW), International Paper, and others who helped us distribute nutritious meals to thousands of our neighbors in need. Groceries and hot meals were given to children, families, and seniors who were without power after the ice storm.

This newsletter recaps the programs used to feed the need across the Mid-South during the height of the pandemic and severe weather that struck our service area. We'll also discuss new partnerships and ways your can donate to Mid-South Food Bank.
