  • Red Nose Day

    May 25th, 2017
    All-day Event

Red Nose Day in the U.S. will take place on Thursday, May 25, 2017, in conjunction with the third annual “Red Nose Day Special” from broadcast partner NBC. Americans across the country will come together, wear their Red Noses and raise money and awareness to help children living in poverty.

With the support of millions of generous Americans, major partners and hundreds of celebrities, Red Nose Day has raised over $60 million in its first two years since launching in the U.S. in 2015, including more than $36 million in 2016.

For 2017, the campaign’s iconic Red Noses will once again be available exclusively at Walgreens and Duane Reade locations nationwide, which will go on sale at a later date, to be announced. The campaign will culminate in another great night of TV, with NBC’s third annual telecast of “The Red Nose Day Special” airing May 25.

Half of the money distributed from Red Nose Day is spent right here in the U.S. The other half is spent in some of the poorest communities in Latin America, Asia, and Africa.

Funds raised by Red Nose Day in the US have supported programs, including Mid-South Food Bank, in all 50 states and 25 countries internationally.

All money raised supports projects that ensure ...

*Meals to feed hungry kids in America

*Safe places to live for homeless children

    *Essential medical services for children

*Life-saving vaccines and treatments for children

*Eye exams and glasses for a child in need

*Anti-malarial nets to protect a mother and her baby

*Books, supplies and activities to help children keep reading skills sharp during Summer

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and Mid-South Food Bank provide central distribution centers for companies, groups and individuals who wish to help provide food for hungry people. They were designed to collect food that would otherwise be wasted, inspect and sort this food, and distribute it to soup kitchens, pantries, and shelters serving the hungry. 96 cents of every dollar donated is used to feed the hungry. Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee and Mid-South Food Bank rely on donations and fundraisers such as Shooting Hunger Sporting Clays Fun Shoots.

For the Shooting Hunger events to be successful, we need the support of friends like you. All contributions will be recognized at the event. We hope to see you there!
